Before I put pencil to paper or pen to tablet, I gather inspiration from various places internet archives and begin to ideate. I put together a few rough sketches, however many the Art Director specifies. Once I get approval I begin to lay down bold black linework, followed by solid block, saturated color. If needed, I will finalize with subtle print-like textures.
