Weitong Mai is a Chinese-born Canadian illustrator, currently based in London, UK. She graduated from the University of the Arts London with illustration bachelor degree in the summer of 2017. As a freelance illustrator, she created illustrations for both commercial and editorial uses. During her career, she had already provided illustrations for many clients, including Fever-Tree, Moleskine, Dettol, DK Books, the National Trust, etc. In the meantime, she also received some international awards, such as Communication Arts Award of Excellence, Adobe Award Top Talent, etc.

Throughly understand the brief or the story. Research for references. Draft out the line draft to visualize the ideas. Once the line drafts is approved, move on to the colour palette. Colour the illustration and add details. Finalize the outcome. Add texture and final adjustment to the artwork.
